Tears of the Dying was formed in the early summer of 2007. The lineup includes Joe Dogg Snider on vocals,Jay Richardson on guitar,Rocky Johnson on bass, Steven Brumfield on rythm guitar,and Vic Damage on drums. Joe,Jay,and Rocky were in a metal band called Tribe of the Trees which Vic later joined and after a shit load of live shows started a new project We recorded our first full lenght CD at the audioloft in Ambridge,PA and are currently getting airplay on WAMX 106.3 in Huntington,WV and 105.9 THE X in Pittsburgh,PA.Steven Brumfield is the newest addition to the band. We hired him so we could have a heavier and fuller stage show. He is a great asset to the band because now our live shows sound just like the cd.He also adds some great input in our song writing. Our influences range from Helmet, GodSmack,Clutch,Sabbath,Prong,and all of the old school rock/metal roots as well as punk. We have also opened for several national bands as well. Soil,Bobaflex,The Autumn Offering,Three Inches of Blood,Divine Heresy,and Stricken just to name a few. Hailing from Steubenville Oh and Pt. Pleasant WV.We hope you enjoy our music.
