Biography
My name is Sid Robinson. My journey into the music world began when I was a toddler. My mother said thatI was trying to play music on a family piano at age 3. When I reached my teens, I sang with several gospel groups in my home town of Chattanooga Tennessee. I joined the Army after that and helped start a singing group which later converted over to a band. This process began in the small town of Schwaebisch Hall in the southeastern portion of the Republic of Germany. The band was given the name "The Montereys" and consisted of Myself on Piano, Ronald Caulton and John Newby on Saxophones, John Shaw on Bass and Perry Carr on Drums. Charles Tillman was our featured vocalist.
After I returned home to Tennessee, the Montereys band was re-organized with the following members: Myself on Organ, Jimi Merritt on Bass, Roosevelt Yates on TenorSaxophone,, Johnny Readus on Drums, and Lee Merritt onGuitar. Charles "Boot" Allen was our Primary Vocalist.
I have had the oppotunity to perform with several noted personalities in the music world including Dakota Staton,Curtis Mayfield and The Dells.
I have A small Home studio and I record All my Tracks All the sounds you here is from my three, Keyboard
