Gareth Van Wyngaardt known as “DJ. 360 Degrees grew up in Johannesburg, the heart of South Africa. He is 30 years old and has been mixing for the past 13 years. He has traveled abroad extensively to countries such as the United Sates of America (west and East Coast), United Kingdom, Austria, Israel, Egypt and Australia. His experiences abroad shows 360” has acquired an appreciation for various dance cultures. His free spirit allows ELI to blend the best out of all his experiences, and is shown in the music that he now produces. His flight into the world of electronic dance music was in 1992 where his passion for electronic music began. He started djing in hard house clubs and Underground house parties and through the years changing the genre of music as the scene changed.: Some of his success have been: winning dj contest battle of the cities(Durban), love parade Johanesburg but for the last 5 years 360” has been in the studio Recording. His music ranges from Trip-Hop, Break Beat, House, Ambient and focuses on Progressive Trance Tracks. He has also has been working on projects, producing a wide variety of music for Television Advertising and has made music for Evoka Ads, “doing his bit for the community”. A simple Internet search incorporating the words ‘’Eli or 360” will lead you to numerous sites where you can sample a taste of his music and get more information about his history. His influences and aspiring personalities has been seen by many great djs and been told by many to be one of the nicest upcoming djs and producers we have yet to see. With influences such as Freq, Sense, Son Kite, Amoeba to name but a few, He has created his own unique brand of music recognized by many fans across the world. His personal taste in Dance Music ranges from Tribal Trance and Progressive Trance but he also enjoys the funky side of dance and all other kinds of breaks and beats.
