Biography
I have been writing music since I was seventeen and dreamed of being a singer/songwriter but have had to put it on hold for several years. I started out writing poetry to deal with my feelings and then I decided to set the poetry to music. My influences have been: The Doors, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, The Beatles, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, David Bowie, Elton John,Johnny Cash, Hank Williams,Sr and various others too numerous to mention. Besides rock, I have branched out into country music, Christian rock, punk rock, and blues.
The thing that sets my music apart from others is that the lyrics all have meaning that hits one at several different levels of meaning. The lyrics write the music, When I am writing and recording, I am always trying to push myself to the next level.

THE SONGS

TONIGHT I'M TAKING OVER THE WORLD This song is about taking charge of one's life and not settling for status quote.

HAPPY,HAPPY BIRTHDAY. This song is a punk rock song that I wrote as a satire of the practice of using samples since I don't do like to use samples, I used the Happy Birthday song as a riff but the song expresses how many of us really feel about birthdays.

FIFTEEN MINUTES OF FAME This song attacks the news media glorification of criminals and their creation of instant fame at the expense of victims.

GODLESS MATERIAL WORLD This song is the title track to an album of the same name and the song and the album explore the many ways that we try to fill a certain void in our lives but are looking in the wrong places.

POTTY MOUTH. This song is a punk rock song that satirizes the practice of using foul language in songs. The song contains blanks that the listener fills in the words based on their mind set.

DARK DAYS OF YOUTH.This is the title song for a series of three albums: DARK DAYS OF YOUTH,DARKER DAYS OF YOUTH,and DARKEST DAYS OF YOUTH. The song explores the values that we have when we are younger and self-absorbed.

YOU CAN HAVE YOUR CAKE(AND EAT IT TOO) This was a punk rock song that was written using lyrics that sound good but are totally meaningless.

TONIGHT,SHE IS PLANNING TO DIE (GOOD NIGHT,FOREVER). This song was written after someone I knew comitted suicide in a motel room. I remember reading the obituary and police account. There were only three lines and I felt that this person deserved more than that.

SHADOW WOMAN. This song was written after waking up from a dream and contrasts the dream world to reality This is one of the few songs where I used tubular bells.

TIME TO BUCK UP, BUCKY. This song was intended to be the ultimate country song employing the elements of pickup trucks, bad luck, dogs,bars, getting drunk, Momma,jail, and what everelse I could think of at the time.

TRAILER PARK PRIDE. This song was intended as a country song that basically says don't try to pretend to be something you're not, accept your past but move on.

READY TO BE ROCKING, TONIGHT. This song was written as a fun rock song using just four chords and simple lyrics
IF JESUS SHOWED UP IN THE E.R..NEW SONG This is a Christian song that looks at the return of Jesus mentioned in the New Testament and looks at the way that people judge other people by their appearance particularly health care professionals, who should know better.
OH MOMMA, LET ME MARRY AN EMT.NEW SONG. This is a country song that looks at individuals who enjoy being sick.
