Biography
I have been writing music since I was seventeen and dreamed of being a singer/songwriter but have had to put it on hold for several years. I started out writing poetry to deal with my feelings and then I decided to set the poetry to music. My influences have been: The Doors, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, The Beatles, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, David Bowie, Elton John,Johnny Cash, Hank Williams,Sr and various others too numerous to mention. Besides rock, I have branched out into country music, Christian rock, punk rock, and blues.
The thing that sets my music apart from others is that the lyrics all have meaning that hits one at several different levels of meaning. The lyrics write the music, When I am writing and recording, I am always trying to push myself to the next level.
My music could best described dark rock where I explore the dark side of everyday life looking at such things as suicide, depression, disappointment, disillusionment with current affairs and establishments such as media and materialism with a satirical twist.

THE SONGS
JULY 9NEW SONG This song was written about fifteen years after I watched my father die on July 9, 1985. The song describes the events that occurred on that day but also what I was experiencing at the time and the sense of loss that I felt.
MEDIA.. This song is protest song against the way that media such as television and radio try to control and manipulate our lives.
HOUSE AT THE END OF THE LANE.This is the song refers to a house that I once owned and the future looked bright until things came crashing down and those dreams were shattered.
COLD DAY IN HELL.
NEW SONGThis song explores the question of how will one handle themselves when things go bad and will they stick by their principles or sell out
BAD BEHAVIOR.
NEW SONG This song was intended to be an attack on the current state of the economy and people in high places getting rewarded for doing a bad job.
IF JESUS SHOWED UP IN THE E.R.. This is a Christian song that looks at the return of Jesus mentioned in the New Testament and looks at the way that people judge other people by their appearance particularly health care professionals, who should know better.
UNDER THE RADAR This song has a double meaning from the standpoint that it refers to fighters flying under the radar just before they attack or people who blend into the background and no one sees them coming until they are successful by operating behind the scenes
PAIN This song is autobiographical and was written after suffering a pinched nerve in my neck and I wrote one morning after being able to sleep without narcotics and my mind was no longer in a fog.
GRIM REAPER LOOKING OVER MY SHOULDER. This song examines the mysterious nature of death and fate.
WATCHING THE WORLD BURN NEW SONG. This is a folk rock song that expresses a general frustration over recent news events and the state of the economy.
