I know of one artist who has come to upgrade Gospel music in Nigeria. He has come with a vision to win more souls to God's kingdom and prove the devil is a Liar. He is ready to take Gospel music to the next level.

His names are Adenekan Adeboye otherwise known as 7TH CHORD. 7TH BABA as he's popularly called is a native of Ogun state of Nigeria. He grew up in the streets of Ebute Metta in Lagos, Nigeria. Despite the pressure from peers and the environment, 7TH kept his head up, pursuing his dreams to become a musician.

His love and passion for the art kept him out of the streets and out of trouble.

In the early years he was busy honing his skills. 7Th has grown to become a fantastic artist. I call him the complete musician. His vocals is superb and excellent. He is very entertaining. His production is really off the chain and it comes with a sound so unique and so pure. He is a prolific producer, singer, songwriter, keyboardist, pianist, Guitarist, Sound Engineer. 7Th writes, produces, mix and masters his songs. In two words, i'll describe him as "Incredibly Gifted".

7th is a graduate of the Musical school of Nigeria (MUSON) in Lagos, Nigeria where he learned how to play the Piano, vocals and other musical instruments.

He is an accomplished producer, singer and songwriter who has worked with the likes of ID cabasa, Lord of Ajasa, 9ice, 2shot, 2Phat, JahBless, Ruggedman, Reminisce and so many others. Now if you're familiar with the Nigerian music industry you'll know that these mentioned artists are top shots. I mean some of the most brilliant of artists in the Nigerian music industry.

He was a member of the super group Coded Tunes based in Lagos, Nigeria. He has worked for Edge Records, RS records, OutLoud Records, CI Entertainment, GG Records, Bethel Music Studio, High Heavens Studio, Orange Seed Records, Nero House of Music amongst others as a back up vocal, producer and Engineer.

7th is one Gospel artist with a mission to win souls to God's kingdom through his music. He hopes to minister to the people of the world and let them see the light in Christ.

Unlike most other artist, this young talented gospel artist has chosen to serve the lord with the gift he has given him. He believes his endowments come from God and should be used in his (the lord's) glory.

Despite all the discouraging statements made and actions taken againgst him, 7th is steadfast in the lord. So many times he has had to battle the temptation of living in the world and giving up his faith but with the help of God he has been able to come out victorious.

Several times he has heard comments such as "look at 9ice, look at Lord of Ajasa, look at ID cabasa, you guys started together and now because of your choice to do Gospel you're not successful as they are". But 7th never listened or paid attention to any of those negative comments.

The reason for this he says and I quote, is becos he strongly believes the lord has a plan for him.

He has helped in directing Choirs and ministerd in several churches like The World Envangelical Bible Church (WEBIC, The redeemed Christian Church of God (True Vision, House of Hope, House of faith, City of Life, Christoners, City of David, Strong Tower etc), Soul winners chapel HQ, Dominion City HQ, Foursquare Gospel Church (Ojota, Lagos Nigeria), Christ Apostolic Church, Christ Embassy (Ojota Parish) amongst others.

7th Chord or 7th baba as he's popularly addressed is a gospel artiste whose vision and goal is to bring people closer to the lord. He does this in a very entertaining way. He is one to watch and be on the look out for.
