Hi, i'm Andrew Harvey, Andy for short....i'm a bachelor musician who's ready to claim fame. I grew up in the west kootenays, BC, Canada, and i still call this heaven.

I've traveled all over Canada and parts of the USA with my Dad when i was young. I learned much about the music/entertainment industry, for my Dad worked as a sound engineer for IATSE for many years. I had the pleasure of experiencing the backstage production world of many Andrew Loyd Webber Productions, including "Phantom of the Opera", "Cats" and "Les Miserables." I also experienced many other great Music Festivals, including "Under the Volcano"-(Nelson, BC) and "The Dawson City Music Festival"(Southern Yukon).

In these settings, I was inspired to pickup music at a very young age. I started on piano as a child, and was soon excited by the idea of music as something i could do. Within a few years, i develpoed an interest in bass and guitar, but my real dream, was to be a drummer. Through highschool i played drums/percussion in many great ensembles, had a brief introduction to music on paper, and finally performed with the Rossland Secondary Jazz Ensemble at "The lionel Hampton Jazz Festival" for a croud of nearly 10,000 in Moscow, Idaho.

Throughout the years, I've studied Jazz, blues, rock, metal, and Reggae and I enjoy playing all types of music. I've spent alot of time going to open mics and jam sessions, as well as jamming with alot of great local musicians.
Recently, I have been playing around on my computer, composing tracks using various digital programs, live applications, a mixer, some instruments, a few friends and my ears.

I'm actively involved with a new Fusion band called Jamphibian, playing drums, singing backup vocals, and helping with arrangements. We're currently working on putting together a demo. Feel free to check us out at Jamphibian@Myspace
