Biography
Hollywood, CA – Hip-hop artist BadLuck has heralded the forthcoming release of his new album, “Menace to the Public,” set for release in September. The follow-up to his “Son of a Prodigy” will further cement his reputation in the rap scene.
BadLuck has also announced the release of a CD with his hip-hop group Non-Sense (NSR). “NSR Mixtape Vol. 1” will hit the streets very soon.
BadLuck is also busy recording with a number of fellow Virginia artists, along with Zone and D Rell.
In addition to being a skilled hip-hop artist, BadLuck is also an accomplished graphics artist, having designed the graphics at Non-Sense's MySpace page (www.myspace.com/nonsensefreza).
His success in multiple artistic endeavors is a product of his drive and his belief that only hard work pays off. “In the music business there's always someone better than you,” says Martino M. Tucker, the mastermind of BadLuck, “someone with better lyrics, a different style, more stage presence ... but the challenge is to be better than the best no matter what.”
And if you can make it, music is the ultimate form of longevity, according to Tucker. A great artist leaves a lasting impact on the world. And music is empowering. “Music makes me feel invincible and immortal,” he declares. It is, Tucker says, the ultimate liberation.
Tucker cites the people closest to him as his drive, the fuel for his non-stop work ethic. “My family and friends are my inspiration,” he says. “Family is a big influence because music has always been a part of our lives.”
“Tucker's close association with music throughout his life has rewarded him with an intimate relationship with music and enabled him to write and perform some stylish, attention-getting modern hip-hop,” according to a spokesman for A&R Select.
