what up! Beats By Mark is a producer/writer/mc i've been at it for awhile i love doing music...i hope yall enjoy what i do as much as i enjoy doing it for yall...my love of music is what motivates me to do it...not the dream of being famous...although i would like to be...its definately the love...so im gonna continue to bang...VA allday playa....well SYM fam my singer Yolanda has joined the Army so she wont be recording wit Beats By Mark...her style will definitly be missed..hope to record wit her again..so that just puts more shine on my other singer Miss Trina Taylor...her drive is just as hard as mine..so we'll try to bring more hot sh*t to the table...via Crushin'(remix)listen enjoy..and i'll be posting some new beats soon...well i see alot of people on SYM tell what they use so will do the same...well i do all my recording on a fostex vf160 16 track digital recorder i also use a fostex D-80 8 track digital hard drive recorder i also have a Tascam DA38 8 track recorder... for the beats i use my MPC2000,AKAI S950 digital sampler,Yamaha CS1X control synthesizer,Yamaha QY-70 sequencer and every now and then i use my AKAI S700 8 second sampler for real gritty sounding drums... for mixing i use a combination of my VF160 and my Samson 22channel 4 buss mixer... i also have Beringer virtualizer for effects,Beringer Dual Flex Pro for adding bass,treble and surround effects... i also use a Beringer Auto Com Pro compressor/limiter for vocal compression and vocal enhancement... I also use a Beringer Ultra Dyne Pro for a whole slew of things compression,signal processioning etc.. too many things to mention...im still learning every thing it does...i also have a MCA condenser microphone..i also have over 100 records that i sample from....i also got over 5000 songs saved to Zip disks also for sampling...as soon as i move i will probally purchase some equipment...to all SYM members reading a book on engineering is very important because your song is only as good as your mix if your music sound f**ked up to you.. it sounds f**ked up to all listeners..i mean i still got alot to learn but i treat my music like my baby..meaning i want you to hear everything clearly so you can get the full enjoyment out of the music...going to a studio and just watching the engineer helps alot to...BBM....hit me @ www.myspace.com/BeatsByMark
