Biography
This is Michael Aka CONGAKID.
I am a Freelance International Percussionist with over 10 years of conservatorium studies behind me.
I was born in Argentina "South America" my first time behind a set of drums was at the age of 5 and was told I was a natural at it, so it was always on my mind and as a teenager I followed up on it and went to better things from there..
I did alot of gigs at resturants with my first band "MIRAGE". MIRAGE was basically a group of mates who got togeteher..
Next was a 2 reggae bands called "TABOO" then "UNTABU" recorded a 45 single in 1980..
I decided to go freelance and did alot of world travelling and cruisers. Here in Australia I have doner many back ups for Famous Artist..
This year I came back from Hawaii were I did a few radio interviews to promote my single which is doing really well..
I will be returning to Hawaii shortly to do recordings with 3 different bands. I also do a Elvis tribute show - which I did in Sydney-Perth-Brisbane-Hawaii-Fiji-I dont not impersonate the king I do the show in a unique way to make tribute to my hero..
My Formost HERO is my DAD, he is a force to be reckon with and the back bone of my life "THANK YOU DAD" and thank tou mum for having me..
