Hey!

My name is Rosty and I am a rock guitarist/vocalist.
My career as a musician started really when I was 13. At my school "Mougins School" located in the south of France I created my first band and it was known as "Devoid". Maybe some of you already know. My influences always were bands like Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, White Snake, Aerosmith, Ratt, Skid Row, etc... I got my first guitar when I was 12 and it was a Fender Stratocaster 1985. It was old but a very good guitar. My first influence was Nirvana. I was a hard-core fan of Nirvana...I had T-shirts, Cd's, Films, etc... My band members were and always remained Ben Tuckwell - Guitar, Ben Wynn - Bass, Darius Ghestmatti - Drums and Myself.We Only really started to get serious when we all were about 16 years old. We had out first gig in a pub in Cannes called Amstel, then we had a gig in Grasse with 2000 people watching us. The atmosphere was amazing and the people were going crazy and applauding to us like a wave. It was insane. Then in June 2007 the band dissapeared. Meaning all the members decided to not do music because in their opinion it wasn't safe enough to rely on it as a business option. Well I'm not someone who judges, but you play music because you love it, and not to make money as your main goal. Ambition is number 1, then money after. Now i record my own stuff in my small studio at my house and i post my music on myspace and showcaseyourmusic.com. Alot of people do love it and my problem is that i don't know people who could help me to promote it. If anyone wants to help, the please is mine.
