Named John at birth in 1971 now also known as Dj Prophit started the life of a remarkable conception. Still a youngster at age 7 his mother Thelma a single parent trying to keep her son occupied in something positive bought a piano for their home.

At that time this started the musical journey that forever peaked Johns interest. It wasnt until after going to a Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince Concert at age 14 he decided to become a Dj and make beats. John might not have had it as tough as some but he still has a story to tell and it is felt through his music. Losing his mom at age 18 but never losing faith he continued his musical journey.

At this point in the U.S.M.C. stationed in 29 Palms, Ca he Dj'd at the e-club on base and on the weekends went to Moreno Valley and Riverside Ca and produced music. He put out his first single there as an artist in 1990 called"If I could Just Kickit Tonight".

After returning to his hometown in 1995 John got into church there he performed in concert on keyboard with Rufus Troutman the gospel voiceboxer, produced albums for several gospel artist, played for conferences and workshops at his church as well as other churches.

Still today he is at it stronger than yesterday and ready for tomorrow with the ability to produce not only hip hop and rap but several other generes of music. Dj Prophit is confident of bieng not just successful but prosperous in the music industry.
