Biography
Glorie Says: "First of all I give all honor and glory to God because it is he who has given me the ability to sing and write music. In him I live, move and have my being. Glorie is a singer/songwriter/Arranger. She loves to write and arrange. She also does arrangements for others who sing in the church and would like updated musical arrangements. Besides Jesus and family, music is her next love. Glorie has been singing since the age of 5. Her Grandmother was her inspiration. Her Grandmother was always singing around the house and was a pianist. She sacrificed to see that Glorie got piano lessons. Because of her Glorie knows what she knows in music. Glorie sang in a High School Group called the "Emeralds" and "The Ladies of Soul" when she cut her first record. She always knew what she wanted to do in life because she could not shake her dreams of becoming a singer/actress/artist and being the best she could be. She came fully to the Lord in 1973 and joined The Old Landmark Church in Chicago where Apostle R. L. Mitchell was her pastor. She sang in the Old Landmark Church Choir for 12 years. Glorie found that God had anointed her more to sing and teach God's word. She also moves in the prophetical gift. One scripture she says God gives her is Jeremiah 3:12, this is her mandate from God. She feels that at this point in her life that now is a special time for her. God is moving her to finish her works of singing and ministering to all those who will open their doors to her. Some of the songs she has arranged have been uploaded here for all to hear. These musical arrangements were given to Glorie under the inspiration of God during her early morning prayer time. They are mostly from the Psalms with a few other additions. Glorie hopes to complete her CD titled "Psalms and Hymns", which will be a total of 12 songs. She hopes her music will cause the listener to rest in the Lord and that it will be a source to cut thru the madness of life and inspire all to seek our God who is the source of all. It's not always the loud sounds where the anointing of God is, but sometimes that small still voice. Glorie says she would like to think of her music as being that still voice with Gods anointing.
