Biography
Ice Pulse started early in January 2008. As a long awaited solo project that I've never got around to doing because "life" always seemed to get in the way. Changing Jobs and working in education, I get to have more time, so I can now focus on writing and recording.
I thorougly enjoy making music and even though I have a few technical hitches, it's a great sense of achievement to be able to overcome them and hear the finished song. I have no clue into what category this music fits.
I get a lot of pleasure from hearing the music transpire. All the tracks on these songs have been written, recorded, produced and performed by myself (Fir3Ic3). Including all guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, lyrics, Vox and programming.
A Little Bit more about me
Mainly a bass player I have also been in various bands as keyboard player and bass/lead vocals. All have been male bands. I've come across so many ego's, arguments and testosterone fuelled fights it's made me thankful to be female !
In 2007 after leaving my last band from Chester UK ( another alcohol fuelled fight over women ) I decided enough was enough I would do it alone and see what challenges I could set myself and also to see how my music would develop.
Sometimes I find it hard to stick to this genre, because I'm from an alternative/gothic rock and old school punk musical background.
BLEED
This track is a combination of electronic synths and analogue. I've added some live guitars to give it that extra edge and fullness that was lacking with just the synth stuff.
SHORES OF DREAMS
I recorded this using quite old gear all on analogue. The vocals are a lot softer and are run through an old Evans Echopet Delay unit.
This was kind of an experiment as there are no other instruments in this song except guitars! There are 6 guitar layers, 7 if you include the bass,....I just can't stop ! Haha
If you have any comments or positive criticism about my music I would love to hear from you.
Thank You...
for your time and support, its very much appreciated !
