Biography
I'm 18 years old and born with a Dutch father and a Indonesian mother in Voorburg in the Netherlands and live in the city next to it, The Hague. All my life I enjoyed hearing music and making music. Thats because my dutch family is well known in the classic musicworld of Holland. My father is a proffesional clarinetist and a teacher at the Royal Conservatoire and all of my brothers, cousins, uncles and aunts play or have played an instrument. Me myself play the cello once in a while. I started when I was almost at the age of 7.
My first contact with the computerprogram Fruityloops was at the age of 12, when my brother was making music. I asked him if I could do it too, so he let me make a melodi. It was awful but pretty funny to do. When I was 14 I had Fruityloops 3 on my own computer, and I began to make my own music. It still sounded awful but when time passed by I was gettin controle over it. I added more effects and made my own vocals. I still think my drums could be better but thats not realy my thing. I enjoy making melodies and sphere's. In the song "Ghost Beat Mix" you hear my brothers' (Woodhill) beats and my melodies.
Nowerdays I still use Fruityloops, but version 7. I record my vocals with Cool Edit Pro.
Favorite artists are St. Germain, DJ Krush, De Phazz, Groove Armada and other artists who produce chill-out, acid-jazz, lounge, etc. (those are not the only genres I listen to, I also do enjoy listening to other genres, such as dance, pop ,drum&bass, funk, some hip-hop, soul, almost everything)
