Currently I am working on "Songs of Scripture" a C.D. composed of all original music with scripture for lyrics.
"Glory To God" is about the birth of Jesus.
"Love Never Fails" is the Scripture Paul wrote about the power of Love.
"You Came To Me" is the Scripture of Jesus telling the Righteous to come inherit the kingdom prepared for them since the foundation of the world. They are Righteous because they fed Him when He was hungry. They gave Him water when He was thirsty. They came to Him in prison, and when He was sick, and when He was a stranger, they let Him in. Confused, they asked Him when they had done these things. Jesus said," In as much as you did it to one of the least of these, My Bretheren, you did it to Me."
"Hosanna" is about the last trip to Jerusalem by Jesus riding on a Donkey's colt, as the crowd laid branches and clothes before Him and shouted "Hosanna".
"Your Reward" Is Jesus telling the people not to worry when they suffer for the Lord's sake, for their reward is great in Heaven.
"Follow Me" is when Jesus was resurrected and showed up on the sea shore cooking breakfast. Peter realized it was Jesus and jumped out of the boat and ran to Him. So Jesus asked Simon Peter, "Do You Love Me?" three times. This song is about that conversation.
The following is a brief history of myself and is my testimony.
I was a touring Rock singer for 14 years. I have played in every dive from N.Y.C. to L.A. and every venue in between. I have rubbed elbows with all kinds of successful Rock artists, from Sting to Motley Crue. I shared studio time with Rick O. (lead singer with The Cars) at Electric Lady (Jimi Hendrix Studio) in N.Y.C. when Rick was working on his first solo album. I worked with Michael Stuart (produced Billy Joel's Piano Man) on an album in Denver. The list goes on.
I stayed pretty trashed in those days, living up to the so called image. The next thing I know, as I looked through foggy eyes, Life had almost passed me by.
The best book ever written, The Bible, changed my fog into sunshine. It is a supernatural, magical book that is alive and has real transforming abilities. If it can fix me, it can fix anyone. Try it, and watch the magic work for you.
I now dedicate all my time and energy recording music for The Lord.
