Lil Rocka was raised in the Heart of the Motor City ( Detroit ). She got her start singing in the Church from the age of 4.
She then continued to sing with various music acts...JWUN- Girls group from Detroit,Oscar Hayes and Abundant Life, Michael Mindingall and Communion and many more.....
Growing Up in some of the roughest parts of Detroit gave her insiration to write lyrics and poetry..she eventually turned these words into SONGS. She has continued to write songs for TV stations such as Discovery Home Channel-ToolBelt Diva, MTV's RealWorld, and various songs for girl groups.
Lil Rocka ventured into doing studio sessions and backing vocals for many Artists such as......Joe Cocker, Mario, Monica, RES, Kelis, Nona Hendryx, Taylor Dayne, Kool and the Gang, MetroSonics, Alice Smith, Vannessa Bell ArmStrong, Regina Bell, Glenn Jones....and the list goes on
Finally...she breaks her HIp Rock project bringing YOu a Raw & Raspy Sound, that is completely her own....and she owns it!
Her Voice is Creative and Original and she sings from the Heart...not just a piece of paper.


I surround myself with Incredible musicians...because I can learn from their knowledge
I surround myself with Great Singers.....because I learn harmonies as well as melodys.....but more important I learn Humbleness...I am not the only 1 GOD gave the gift to...I am just Blessed he chose me to be 1 of Many.
