Ram A.K.A Progressive Thrust was always involved in the international Underground House scene as a DJ, Producer, Remixer and even Promoter.
At the age of 12, his father noticed his madness towards music, so he bought him his first kit for his birthday, and that was just 2 turntables & a 2 channel mixer , for the little kid Moe, it was the world's greatest gift! and his start, at that point he became the official young DJ for all his school parties, then moved on to take over all the school & house parties in the city, then he was noticed as the best DJ at his age.
As he reached the age of 21, Ram started rocking night clubs, bars, raves & all dance events . residencies were offerd , he accepted them for a few years specially the legendary Progression , where all the biggest boys were residents or spinning there all the time , that was a turning point to him, as he met the biggest names in the scene and his career was just starting to get bigger and bigger.
His name appeared from europe to the middle east, to the rest of the world as he never left a chance to spin all over the place, from Spain, France, U.K, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Holland , Romania, Russia & Turkey in Europe to U.S.A & Canada in North America, to Egypt, Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Seryia, Jordan, Kuwait,Lebanon & Moroco in The Middle East , to China,Japan, India & Thiland in Asia.
Ram has a huge club experience as he played at many famous international clubs and club nights around the world such as Renaissance,Progression, Ministry of Sound,Pure,Thrust,Peppermint, Chi, The Lodge, Ibo, Oxygin, Lotus one, Cheos,Enigma, Avalon,Pacha, Space, Cream, Little Budha,Amnesia, Previlige, Defected in the house, In bed with Space, Club 69, Factory,Passion, Rush, Mase, Touch and Cyclone.

Ram is well known for his track selection , skills and bieng able to read the crowd.. he knows exactly how to get them to dance as if time and space dont even exist any more..all that along with the 14 years experience makes him one of the best djs in the world .
his sound can only be described as a mixture of underground,progressive,tech,electro,deep,dark,tribal,sexy house music with different touches of many other elements like vocals , instruments and more..
" i think that a dj is not a person who just plays records...cause that would just make him a juke box..a dj is a person who knows how to read the crowd , feel what they want, what would make them move, select the tracks really well and mix them together in many different ways, to get a different sound every time, and use many elements and different sub genres too in the set in a way that would create a new sound that would satisfy every 1 out there and make them feel as if they were in a trip for a few hours , as if the whole set was 1 track , so they can all go home happy.."
" underground music is the original sound of every genre , it never died and will never do, and it will always sound new, in my openion i dont like commercial music as i dont see the point of going to a club to listen to the same music that i was listenning to on the radio in the car on my way to the club! those tracks will boom for a little while then they will die as fast as they came up.."
Ram's love for music didnt stop at bieng a dj.. in 2004 he remixed a track for the prodigy " magic people " into progressive house , then he started remixing alot of tracks from house and other genres into house and was well appreciated. a year later remixing didnt seem to be enough for him as he was more intrested in producing his own original tracks. progressive house was always the main path for him then he moved on to deep and tech house aswell as progressive. in 2006 his remixes of the prodigy's " outts space " and Ame's " Rej " was rocking, and his original feat Foxy " take me higher " was a massive one in the underground house scene and that was the birth of the name Progressive Thrust.
from djing to producing , Ram found himself attracted to the promotion industry, in 2006 he founded Thrust Entertainment , an international events company that made huge events in europe and the middle east.. thier first event was a huge success, with more than 11000 clubbers @ mohamed ali club - cairo -Egypt with superstars Hernan Cattaneo , Cosmic Gate & Saeed Younan.
in 2007 he founded Thrust Club in Cairo-Egypt with a capacity of 3000 people with a superstar act every weekend which was recognized as the best club in the middle east.
Now he is working on starting his own label, to give the chance to all those really talented ones who didn't get lucky yet.so they wouldnt have to face what he had to go through to be able to do what he loves to do.
