Nu and Now Music is proud to introduce 17-year-old, Detroit native, Tabatha Cargill to the R&B scene. This phenomenal alto has been singing since she was 4-years-old. As a senior in High School in Detroit, Tabatha is planning to pursue a degree in music at one of the colleges at Atlanta University Center and then a professional career in music. Tabatha has been inspired by vocal greats Whitney Houston and Minnie Rippleton. She is very active in both her school and church choirs.
Not only does Tabatha has an awesome voice but also holds tremendous talent in song writing. On her debut CD, she writes about the unfathomable exploration of young love with “I Think I Am In Love” and on the flip side, a pumping, hip-hop bonus sample about the frustrations of romance with “I’m Tired, I’m Tired”. She has also collaborated with her producer on the remaining songs on this project. Her talent does not end here…she also choreographed the dance moves for her entire show.
Tabatha’s biggest joy is making others happy. She hopes that by sharing her talent with the world that this project will not only offer entertainment but inspiration of the heart and delight to the ears of those that hear it. This project offers an unbelievable range of variety to every music listener: R&B, hip-hop, neo soul, and gospel. You will be able to experience the powerful voice, range, and spirit that only Tabatha can deliver while “Learning As Life Teaches”.
