Biography
Up and coming rapper out of Union City, New Jersey. TakTikal was inspired by Hip Hop from back in the days when his father The Grand Wizard Kid C used to rap. Growing up he became more attached to music to tha point he started imitating other rappers until he heard Eminem’s Slim Shady LP in 1998 which inspired him to rap. In 2001, he started recording with Hip Hop DJ/ Producer DJ Hek Tek for Bluntsquad Productions. 2002 entering High School, TakTikal started getting his name out by coming out victorious during battles with other rappers in his High School Union Hill. In 2003 was his first opportunity for a showcase as he performed for the first time in Club Partnerz in the Union City, NJ area where he went on to the finals but didn’t win. As TakTikal went on with his music career, he battled local rappers over songs to keep his name current, Later joining up with Producer/ Rapper Meth Murda " Beat Fiend Productions" as well as building a rap crew by the name of Wun Mill. In 2004 TakTikal was invited back to Club Partnerz to perform once again as he stole the crowd at the age of 16. 2005 got his big break as he came out on his brother’s former group The Franchise Mixtape “It’s a Long Story” where he got a lot of respect for the track he was featured on. 2006 TakTikal contributed some of his time to perform for The Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund where the show and the performance was a turn out. Continuing with his goals to make it, TakTikal has also appeared on J Dymonds "Dymond In A Rough" mixtape(2006) Da Meetin Groundz Mixtape(2007) Big Shot Worldwides "The Foundation"(????) and Brick House Records Presents: "Da Ill Squad Mixtape vol.1"(2007). Plus he was featured in the XPLOSIVE MAGAZINE'S UP AND COMING RAPPERS SECTION.
