Track 1 is a new song born of the heartache of long distance love.
Tracks 2, 4 and 6 are from my 7-track CD
'Stubborn'.
Track 3 (1st one playing) is quite an old song, but one I and others think is still good - but it should have a FEMALE vocal (any volunteers?)
Song 5 is from one of three full-length musicals I've scored - Silk Swords: The WHISPERERS - composed to a script by Julie Grinnell (see image of CD cover for details). I've also done the music for The VOICE with Patrick McNeill (WayOutProductions.com) and Spirit Alive! with Adrian Holdstock. None of these have been on stage yet. If you'd like to stage a musical which get's across some aspect of God's word, please get in touch!
Song 7 is just a nice song I wrote a LONG time ago! I can't even remember the name of the girl who sang it!!
I've been musical since I was 4, writing songs since I was 12, involved in Christian music since 1996. I live in Coventry lead music ministry at my church (Ambassadors International) and 'guest' on keyboards at other ministries throughout the country. My songwriting is inspired by God through events in my life, and reveals that musically, I'm a child of the 70's and 80's. Part of my problem (if that's the right word) is that I try to take a musical idea to its logical conclusion, rather than shoehorn it into a style.
I've never been in a situation to form a regular band, so I tend to make my recordings sound like a 'virtual' band which I call 'The DONKEYS'. I have many more songs wait to find their place in the big wide world.
