Anthony C. Nwajei aka A.C. Jei, has loved music all his life. His father played the guitar while growing up in Nigeria, where Anthony was born. Mainly because of his father, Anthony grew up listening to mostly jazz/smooth-jazz music. When he reached sixth grade he began to play the alto sax. He stuck with it for the next 7 years. Over those 7 years Anthony fell in love with music and learned to appreciate all forms of it (jazz/classical//pop/alternative/hip-hop/and R&B). During his Junior year in high school, like many aspiring music producers/beat makers, Anthony stumbled across FL Studio. However, he was not serious about it and was not good at it, but he knew that making music was something he would seriously want to pursue. After realizing that FL Studio was not for him, he began to teach himself how to play the piano. He fell in love with it immediately and progressed at it over the next few months. The summer after his freshmen year in college (August 2007), A.C. Jei decided it was time to get serious and purchased a keyboard workstation. From then on A.C. Jei has been making as much music as his time allows. He is a currently Chemical Engineering student at Prairie View A&M, so he obviously does not have as much time as he would like to focus on his music. AC Jei is not your average R&B producer. His sound is very unique and original. He knows that he has a very long road ahead of him before he reaches the top of the producing world, but he is well prepared for this journey.
