AERO is a Russian Anglophone rock band formed in august, 2007, consisting of 5 men and experienced in playing open air & night club concerts.

The demos you can listen to here have been recorded at several studios (A. Altman’s “Big Ear”, “Zvuk” and others), have practically no arrangement and the uttermost live sound.

The band develops a new direction in contemporary rock music – AEROCK. It’s a mixture of rock, classic and ethnic music and a combination of western and oriental schools.
Our musical ideas: *self expression in the outer music by means of the inner music of everyone.
*a style means limits - the inner music needs no limits,
*with no tune, music is a mere noise.
*To speak to the outer world you need to know the common language of it.
(It is English).
Our ideas. *We are patriots of our beloved planet.
(Traditional patriotism only does Her harm and divides people)
*We are of different nationalities and races, but we are brothers in air.
*Every problem of the planet is a problem of everyone.
*We are to solve our problems by ourselves (never waiting anything from governments) like A-ha, Bono (U2), Sting and others do.
*We want to create an international project. Let it be the largest band in the world where all people helping us will be the members of the band «AERO».
The musicians call themselves “aeropeans”. They know that they are already FIVE trying to change the world to the better.

The musicians participated in combined gigs with well-known European bands such as «Plastic people of the Universe», Agave9 and others. All the songs performed by “AERO” are in a constant rotation of Radio Roks, Radio “Randevu”, Last FM and others. In November, for a month of rotation the band’s songs got more than 36000 text messages and e-mails.

On the 9th of March 2008, “AERO” performed a song named “Siberia” on a concert dedicated to the final Russian Eurovision contest which proved to be probably the most corrupted, bribed and therefore absolutely dishonest contest in Europe. The mates even did not try to conceal the truth and soon appeared to be in a middle of a great scandal.
Nevertheless they managed to deserve love of million spectators all over Russia, Europe and Asia.

We've got studio and concerts’ demos, a documentary: "The Singer, his Dream, and his Band" (The University of Manchester. Granada centre for visual anthropology) filmed and directed by Karin Bareman, our Dutch friend, concerts’ video footage and many photos. Thank you for any comments on our music.
