Amaryllis Santiago was born in Lebanon, PA. She discovered music at an early age and never stopped. Throughout school she was exposed to many genres and enjoyed listening to the different styles that her peers had on their players. Her favorite genres are Smooth Jazz, R&B, Classical, Latin, and music genres from different countries.
Amaryllis is getting ready to release her third CD and has a tremendous team of professionals in the music industry who will provide expertise and creative touches on the next project. She will keep you updated on news-worthy information as it is released!
Although she has original tunes, her main act consists of cover songs from her favorite artists. She has performed at restaurants, pubs, clubs, corporate events, casinos, festivals, concerts, and is known to frequently donate time and talent for many worthy causes.

On June 9, 2009 she released her second CD, Mystique which is a 5 song compilation of original tunes. The creation of this CD was at the request of many individuals asking for more music. These songs were a collaborative effort with musicians and producers who she met along the way. The CD will only be promoted through select sites.

In 2008-First Jazz Latina- Amaryllis had the opportunity to go to Cannes, France for the MIDEM Music Conference. She was surprised to know that two of her songs from the CD “THE NEXT LEVEL,” was given Special Mention for being the first “Jazz Latina” to have two songs on the MIDEM Top 10 Charts. “Simply Me” came in at #6, and “VFW” came in at #10. On March 16, 2007-BEST LATIN ARTIST AWARD- the Central Pennsylvania Hip Hop awards held their first ever show at the Forum in Harrisburg, PA. These awards were for artists who created music in several genres. After being nominated and voted in, Amaryllis received the “Best Latin Artist” award.

On March 2006, Amaryllis decided that she wanted to pursue music full time. She worked on her goal of having a cd released before the end of the year. She accomplished that goal with her first release, on December 6, 2006, the CD is "The Next Level". These original tunes can be found at www.cdbaby.com/amaryllis.
