Biography
Being into music all my life it was clear to me to write about things i have come across in my life i.e love, work,up hill strugles with day to day bull shit. Each song has a meaning and reprisentation to somthing i have expeirianced.
I have grown up in a small place called appley bridge near wigan its kinda nice round hear realy you can walk for a few mins and ur just in countryside its lush. My passion for music grew when I encounterd some real hartache....This focused me more to push my music and make a certain person proud of me as they always suported my music.
I started of when i was in school i bought my first guitar for £20 it was old and broken but i carryed on.
When i got better i bought a better one to help improve my playing i started learning songs by guns n roeses, extream and metalica..when i hit 16 i found myself in a metalica covers band it didnt last long and as my musical taste changed so did my playing style.I went from wanting to be a fast lead player to wanting to be a song writer.
I was listening to bob marley, oasis, super grass ect....indie bands mainly and before i knew it i was in an oasis covers band.
When i was learning the songs i started playing about with chords and i wrote my first song TYPICAL DAY it was a good song for a first song...some people still say its a hit song.......i dont!!!
Anyway we did a few gigs and i use to start them by doing a few acoustic tracks and i put in Typical Day in with them it went down well...and people started saying why dont you write more Andy....so i did.
But when i was in the covers band my mum sadly died of cancer and that was that...I started drinking shitloads and went on a self distruct mission the covers band split up because the other guitarist started going out with the drummers sister so we all went our seperate ways..
The front man and i stayed friends and i started to write again...the next song i wrote was NEVER FADE AWAY a tribute song for my mum.its a nice song it cuts deep realy.
after that one the songs came thick and fast i just kept going with them..i found us a drummer and he brought in a bass player finaly i found a very talented guitarist called max vitali.....hes a very good guitarist and song writer the band was set.
we went out did a few gigs some studio work and after some time the bass player left the band so we found a new bass player Dave fillingham another very talented musician/sound enginer/songwriter we were off again..we did some more gigs, studio work then the band split again...a shame cos we were amazing (without being big headed) we were just that good.
put it like this if we had been seen by and A and R guy he would of signed us on the spot...oh well cant win them all eh?
after that i started to write my second albums worth of songs and invested in a small studio set up at home and tought myself to record as i have got better at recording i have compiled the songs on hear and more.
im currently writing my 3rd album and im starting working with some very good professional prodcers as i have been accepted for a demo submission by a uk lable...
I was working with a new band but i didnt work out its so hard to find competant musicians..
Anyway enjoy the tunes theirs something for everyone hear.
peace
