Biography
THIS SHOWCASE WAS RATED NUMBER 11 AT ONE STAGE. POINT PROVEN.....

Yes, after playing at dodgy clubs and bars for years, I decided to install a small recording studio in my garage where we could all drink and record some music without having some drunk biker come up and request "Dokken".
This turned out to be a swell idea and pretty soon a steady stream of my musician buddies started coming around and generally just getting pissed and laying down some tracks.

There are some projects going on though, and we tend to take it seriously every once in a while. I am busy with recording a solo album for well known Diamond Dogs frontman, Nic Slade.
The album is now finished. Check out Nic Slade's showcase to hear the final mixes. The songs that I posted here are the rough mixes.

On top of this we are still busy with the recording of the album for my band Pyramid. That has already taken up 2 years of our time, but we are not in a hurry. Check out Pyramid's showcase as well.

Oh, and I am not posting this showcase in the hope of getting a record deal. Years of experience in the industry has taught me that it is not about how good your songs are or whether you are a virtuoso musician. It is all about what you look like. I am hitting the wrong side of 30 now, so my time has gone. The main reason why I am posting this showcase, is in the hope that somewhere, somehow, somebody might dig what we are doing and let us know. That makes it worth it in the end. So, if you are a record executive who just happens to be on this page (fat chance anyway)...you can kiss my ass.

A big thank you to the following people:
JC du Toit - Vox on all Pyramid tracks and ACousticDC
Nic Slade - Vox and Harmonica (and for writing great tunes)
Nigel Geden - Sweet guitar solos and Technical Know-how
Marco Monteiro - Drums
Nick Kok (the man with a plan)- for taking pictures and making videos
Wayne Armstrong - for playing bass and lending me his Trace Elliot for when I want to play bass....(can I keep the 5-string now that your new Fender Jazz has arrived?)
and to MYSELF (Arno) - Strat/Acoustic Guitar/Bass/Drums/Vox and sometimes even Minimoog.

I will be posting new tracks quite frequently, so keep visiting this page.

If you feel that you dig some of the stuff we do and want to get a CD free of charge, e-mail me at ags@3at1mail.co.za (You'll have to pay for Postage and packaging though...)

ALSO CHECK OUT THE FOLLOWING SHOWCASES:
PYRAMID - Our Band
THREE FOOT THANG - Nigel's other band
AUDIO ARCHITECTS - Our Proper studio.
CHEERS

One last important thing. If you leave a comment and tell me that you have voted, please do so. Some of the people who have left comments saying that they have voted, didn't. If you read through the comments, you'll see that "ROB'S BASS CAFE" voted twice. He apparently didn't keep track of who he's been lying to. Please do not be offended if I do not return a vote or comment. If we all keep kissing each others butts, we're living in a dream world. If you leave a comment or vote, I will check out your site and if I like what you're doing I will either comment or vote or both. If I don't I will simply leave. I am not going to blow smoke up other peoples buttholes. About two weeks ago, some soul singing chick was no.1 in the rock genre because of this sort of thing. That pissed me off.....
