Twenty-three year old, singer-songwriter, Ashley Hansen, grew up in Nashville, TN. As a young child, Ashley sang in multiple choirs while studying violin and piano. At age 11, she won first place in the Metro's Writers Showcase for her song lyrics. From that moment on she was hooked. Songwriting quickly grew into a passion that only strengthened her desire to sing and perform. Ashley knew from an early age that she wanted a career in music.
Ashley recently graduated from Belmont University as a Commercial Voice Major. Over the past four years, she has immersed herself in music and life. Ashley has recorded her first professional demo. This demo includes six songs she wrote that reflect her experiences and observations. Many have been moved to tears upon hearing Unbalanced and Those Old Memories. Curious, I Need a Good Man, and No Regrets show her sense of humor and resilience to life's "bumps along the way". They are light, fun, upbeat songs to sing along with. Reckless Love, one of Ashley's most unique and rhythmically complex songs, has a Celtic feel and tells the story of young love.
With her talent and passion there is nothing stopping Ashley Hansen from reaching the top.
