Biography
Out of Kenner City comes the punch-line champion of Louisiana, Ballistix . He began rapping at the age of 14 and ever since then his skills were way above your average rapper. Ballistix created a name for himself from the New Orleans to Baton Rouge. When ever he spits a verse the crowd loves it. He started the hustle at the age of 16 by battling other rappers for money; he never lost. However, he realized there was more to rap than that. So he took some advice from a friend and created a mix-tape called “Verbal Abuse”. His street buzz was unbelievable, everyone asked when the next mix-tape was coming out he said, “soon”. Unfortunately, in August 2005 Ballistix’s road to becoming a rap star was slowed down as New Orleans was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. For two excruciating months he was displaced from his home town. However, he still managed to write new songs and kept striving toward his life goal. He didn’t forget about the mix-tape that he promised his fans but his planes changed. He took a new direction in his career and started to work on his album. Schoolwork was taking time away from his progress but now that he has graduated he when full blast to get his career back on track. Now he is 19 and full of ambition and his goals are looking even brighter. He preforms twice-a-month a club Red Velvet. His album is two songs away from being finished and will be at the end of September 2008. So get at him cause the sky is the limit for him.
