YO :) Just wanted to let you know that I post my alt. (from progressive and electro) projects here (yeah, I experiment with different music). If you're not interested in rock, hip-hop , trip-hop etc. stuff then please follow to the myspace below

Most of my new music is trip-hop/breaks infused, but since SYM is so stingy on genres...

Before starting his what-to-be career back in 2005, which is not so long ago, Cain (whose real name is Egor, by the way) never ever thought he'd be doing something music-related. But as a man who is driven by feelings and sudden changes, as a man who likes to try anything new he just went and bought a pair of decks and a mixer; and as it later turned out it wasn't a bad idea!

Almost immediately he gets a spot as a resident in one of the local nightclubs, which was slowly "falling apart" at that time, but still had it's share of public. Hastily Cain begins to develop his own style, which is considered unique by many. By mixing down extraordinary sounds of electro, techno, house and some hard elements he finds his devoted crowd.
Unfortunately the club he worked at had to close in 2006, leaving Cain on his own, and while DJing still felt good it wasn't enought for him. He wanted to bring his own sounds to the masses, and not just something produced by someone else.

That's when a friend of his, who was actually into a band music, offered Cain to teach him some production tips and tricks using home studio and a computer with Nuendo 2.0 software, and even thought it wasn't the easiest way to begin Archer did not step back and started to master it.
"One should never think he's at the top, and should always look for the ways to improve himself" - says Cain.

And so, Cain has been producing up to this point. He purchased Ableton Live! software, as he thinks it holds a future for the DJ/Producers, and setup his own little studio, where he creates unique and fresh sounding music.

Follow the name of Cain Archer, and you will not be disappointed!

Thanks everybody, I'll be sure to comment back :) Someone gave me respectful 1. I guess he didn't like the music and didn't care to explain why. That way It'll be harder to get better!
