Peter “Capri-Ceo” Freire
Puerto Rican, Italian, Portuguese, born a Leo in San Luis Obispo, Ca without a father, Peter is the youngest of four and the only son. His mother took the initiative to leave an abusive relationship and fled to San Bernardino, Ca. At the age of three a man came into their lives and chose to take on the responsibility of “Dad”. Ironically thereafter, with the memories awfully vivid, his childhood life was filled with constant abuse, neglect, and instability for many years to come. He was forced to live and be taught by the streets, raised in the Muscat Projects of San Bernardino then later roamed the dirt roads of the Mojave Desert.
Weary of the maltreatment at home he also chose to leave those extreme living conditions. A situation his mother attempted to get them away from years before. At 14 he ran away from the only family he knew and loved in hopes to bring change but instead found himself in group home after group home for abused and neglected children for much of his teenage life. At 19 he reunited with his family for the first time in 5 years and it was revealed that in contradiction to what he went through, they too operated 5 group homes for abused and neglected children. At 18 while in the Wimbledon Homes for the Youth in Sacramento CA, Peter was kicked out of the only place he called home for the last 2 years do to no more funding by the State because of his age the Group Home wasn’t getting paid for Him being there. Forced to leave and eventually ended up back in the Mojave Desert with no known family except his older sister Debbie Freire who had nothing to do with anyone! Step father “Walker” molested His older sister on several different accounts from 8 years old all the way up till she was 15 and she moved out at 16 emotionally disturbed but determined to survive and get the hell away from him and the woman she felt allowed him to get away with it all those years. She applied for welfare at an emancipated age of 16 and got pregnant by an alcoholic drug user who use to abuse her she had her first son at 17. By a different man had her first daughter and by yet another man had 2 more daughters which NONE of them took the time of day to be a part of there kids life. His big sister was on welfare for 22 years until they cut her off. She never had a job except the job of raising her kids alone without any father figure except there uncle “Peter”. Peters older sister now 44 and lives alone at home on section 8 and on medication and Social Security Disability She pretends to be disabled but she is just working the system like every body else. Being on the streets at 18 Peter became very popular and well known in the streets of Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia, Adelanto, Phelin, Rightwood, Lucerne, Barstow, Helandale and Oro Grande. To a point that He didn’t have to hustle because people wanted to do it for him. But being that popular comes with its own set of enemies. That’s right! Peter knew because He kept his enemies very close. They were very jealous of his popularity and the attention He got with the Ladies not to mention the money that people brought to Him daily. Soon these close so called friends AKA “Enemies” started getting sloppy and was getting caught by the Police one by one and Peters name would seem to conveniently fall out there mouth. When Peter was arrested for Burglary He had nothing to say to the investigating officers except a gentle Fuck You or an occasional Kiss My Ass. Peter didn’t know who He hated more! His so called Family, His so called Friends, Or the Police. One thing He did know for sure is that He couldn’t trust nare one of them. So since He’s not in to telling He served 2 years in State Prison for 1st degree burglary. Got out and during his 3 yrs Parole went back on 2 violations totaling 16mos then discharged His Parole # J-26110. Peter was free to move about again and be a normal citizen and got various part time jobs while living in his car and keeping to his self because He chose to disenfranchise Himself from all the people he knew before, because friends like that you don’t need enemies!!! True to Himself Peter gave a real relationship a try not knowing without any background or knowledge of what a relationship or family is suppose to be attempted to settle down at 28 with an old friend he knew 10yrs prier. To make a long story short Peter started a family, she started tripping, Peter moved out and, they got divorced a year later. In 1999 Peter received 4 yrs in state prison for receiving stolen property. In March 17th 1998 Peter had a little girl and He named her Milan. When she was 1yrs old Peter started His 4yrs and did not see Milan until she was five. The mother didn't even bother to contact Peter about His so-called child until 3mos before He was to Parole. Peter attempted to work on things with the x wife and was able to do so for about eight months after He got out of prison and He had to move on in his life, and the x wife was not feeling the idea of Him moving on with His life so she kept Him from seeing the child He believed was His and filed for child support then disappeared. Peter is not even on this Childs Birth Certificate and Peter hasn’t seen the child and she is now 9yrs old and Peter now owes back child support for a child He hasn’t been able to have an relationship with, not to mention, He's not even sure if it's His and He is very troubled about this whole situation. While in prison for 4 yrs Peter wrote over 80 songs about various parts of His life and studied up every aspect of the Music Industry. One year after His Parole in 2004 Peter discharged His number P-55136.
While going through his hardship and trying to find his place in life music was the only avenue of tranquility. Straying away from the peer pressures of drugs, alcohol and negative influences his high was the tempo and flows that burst through the headphones he listened to every day. Soon thereafter his desire to become a famous artist was envisioned. Born from a bloodline of a multi-talented family of entertainers (Juan Compose) in Puerto Rico dating back to the 18th Century it is no surprise that music is his forte.
Unyielding to his aspirations Peter acquired the pseudonym Capri-Ceo derived from the Italian word Capriccio (kə-prē’chē-ō) meaning an instrumental composition that does not adhere to rules for any specific musical form and is played with improvisation, which is evident in his music. He has written over 80 song lyrics, has produced 17 sound recordings completing his first album entitled "Business Man", and has performed at many local events in Barstow, Victorville, and throughout Southern California and Nevada.
Peter has remarried and now has 2 children by his new wife that are not His and one with His wife that is Although the ill-effects of his past still linger on he strives to instill value and respect into the family he now has by providing a better way of life for them than that of his own.
