Biography
Ceremony Style was found in 1994 by D. Tsatsi. I am one of those people who listen to a song and constantly tries to understand how it got to sound that good. Unfortunately some local productions always bring me down.
Professor T has been mixing it up on the desk since 2002. DJ inspired by DJ Vinny da Vince, fresh, and all deep sounds producers. Professor T mixed at so many places, clubs and street bashes, schools and so on…from Carleton Ville, JHB, Pretoria, Durban to Cape Town with my deep style of music.
I believe been independent is good, on my album I’ve worked with best known people who turned me down completely at the end of session. But I came with ideas and turned my ideas into reality because I was confident and original about myself and I didn’t give up. In this industry its not easy at all, I struggled a lot for years to where I am now.
Ever since I was five years old, my parents used to play music, make parties, etc.
I liked music that they used to play, as time goes on my mother worked at music bar and she used to buy lots of music. I was a kwaito fan before house music in 1993. I started listening to music by DJ fresh, vinny da vince, ganyani and etc. and I was inspired by those people when they release their first compilation.
By 2002 I was a small dj and a producer. I purchased my own equipment in 2004 (Technics MK2 turn table) and I was a freelancer at Milky Way opposite Y fm. On the other hand I started creating my own music in 2002. I was inspired by Kaskade and Gadjo vinyl’s to create my own music.
