Chris Edwards is a singer/songwriter based out of East Texas aiming for a perfect blend of melody and lyrics in his music. His new record, the self-produced "Long Hard Ride" reflects a series of trying times and dealing with losses, which are recurring themes in his music.
Influenced by a great number of classic singer/songwriters, like Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Hank Williams, Steve Earle, etc., Edwards uses his own experiences and way with words to create pictures of down-on-their-luck individuals, stories about everyday living, and dispatches from his own days.
