hi there! i am a total newby to making music, but i have listened to sooooo much over the years, and always wanted to have a crack at my own tracks! well in may 2007 a dj friend of mine came round and installed cuebass sx on my pc and showed me the basics of how to run the software. so from then untill now i have been hidden away trying to teach myself the finer points of making electronic music using some samples and vsti's! i am now at a point where i want to be juged on the tracks i make! as you will know, its easy to make something that you like as you hear it so offten in the production process, but its really hard to judge if its good, bad or indifferent! untill i found this site! so now i can put somthing on here and let you all judge my tracks! i would be most greatfull if you could give me some honest feedback and if you think something isnt quite right please let me know! as this is how i will learn! another nightmare i had was how to class my music!!! as its a bit dancey with hiphop currents running through it aswell, so maybe its dance hop, or hip dance! any suggestions please do tell again! hahaha! belive me or not, im not bothered what rating i get as i make music that i like to hear! so all you hear in here is stuff that i would buy myself to listen and dance too!!! so i am tryin to keep it as real as i can to what i belive in, which is good strong music with interesting beats and vocals! anyway enjoy my tracks and i ope some one out there likes what i do! cant wait to hear what you all think! thanx, cyprussphil. i must stress, all the tracks here so far were experiments i did to see what could and couldnt be done and as such the quality is quite poor on some tracks! but any material added from here on in will hopefully be structured and finished a lot better, i hope!!! a quick rundown of how these songs came into being, candy superstar was the first song i did where i played with fx on a full vocal, i really liked making this track! check me out was the first full vocal that i put into a track after a lot of sound engineering to get the words just where i though they needed to be! hard work but it came out well! frozeness started as a trance track, but what i did was made it backwards to how i would go about a normal track and it sounded pretty cool with no drums at all, so thats how it stayed, only took 2 days to do, no beat u c! hehehe! the korean connection was the first track that i really concentrated on the vocal, so u must excuse the music, as it was the vocal i wanted to effect, the whole track was made out of 5 2 second msn voice clips i got from a korean friend of mine, i was proving that u could make a half decent track outta vertually nothing! anyway, she loved it, couldnt belive it was her voice ! hehehe! dip it low was the first track i did, hence its quite poor quality, all i was trying to do was get somthing that resembled a song!!! so that poor song layed the foundations for everything thats followed, so i owe it a lot!!!!! hahaha! ok let u get back to the music, enjoy, cyprussphil aka anarchy from tha uk...
