My name is Darnesha (D.A.R) Allen. I was born in Atlanta,GA and raised here in Youngstown,OH. Growing up as an artist/songwriter with much potential and talent.Don't get me wrong I'm into sports especially basketball,most of that plus singing comes from my mother and My father(musician)who was in a group called Absence Of Color overseas who traveled far as to Thailand,Singapore Etc. to perform, has inspired me into music.Rapping,i do not know who and where it came from i guess from growing up listening to TLC.Left eye has inspired me in music because in the group TLC she made the fun in the group, so if people wondering about the rapping part of the story then thats where i get it from.Practice makes perfect and from rapping at the age of 8 and now is like ...wow!! Another thing music is my life, my inspiration,and is my future,and is my hope and dream.People say that i have a church voice and that they can hear other artists in me that i remind them of as far as Floetry,Alicia Keys,but I'm not gonna take it that far because my favorite singer is Beyonce and thats another woman that i grew up on. But the most important thing is that i sound like my self and that i have my own style and my goal is to one day be out there where all the artists that i inspire now one day,and for my fans to choose me as their favorite artist like how Beyonce is mine.
