Biography
The Kaufmann Duo does not have to convince anyone that their sound is amazing. Just one listen and you'll know why. Everywhere they perform, they recieve nothing but high praise and admiration.

This is the comment that is heard everywhere The Kaufmann Duo perform.
The Kaufmann Duo have been singing professionally for a while now. They perform classical pop, 60-70's pop hits, classical guitar, opera and things in-between
David has been singing since he was 7 years old. He has such an amazing voice you would never guess that he never recieved any voice lessons. He listened to all types of music and started singing along with the records and CD's. He has an amazing ability to hear a song once and can perform it quite well. He is truly a rare and gifted vocalist.
George was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and has been involved with music all of his life. He started studying the classical guitar at very young age and practiced the guitar 8-10 hours a day. By the age of 11 he was already performing 8th year level compositions by Sor and Tarrega.
Since moving from Maryland to California, he has been in many bands and performed on classical radio as well. He is a wonderful composer of classic rock, pop and classical music. He enjoys all kinds of music and knows a good song when he hears it. The song, 'It's Over' was chosen from thousands of submissions as one of the best pop vocal 60's songs by Producer.com in England.
George states: "People that listen to my music say that it sounds very Orbison/Beatle like, but I never really tried to copy anyone. It just developed on it's own". A few songs written by him are displayed here. George has walk down many avenues in the music business and has taught, encouraged and inspired many to maintain their dreams in music over the years and continues to write and teach in his private studio. He holds a Masters Degree in Music.
David started performing for teachers and school administrators in elementary school. At 10 years old, he had his very first concert performance and did "Music Of The Night" at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center in Cerritos California. He was in full costume, recieved a standing ovation twice and later was asked for autographs.
David was born with an extraordinary voice. He also did a Christmas show outside at the Promenade Mall in Temecula, CA as they were promoting the movie, "The Polar Express" staring Tom Hanks in front of over 13,000 people. He performed with well known actors that night which included such from the TV show "The Bold and The Beautiful".
Recently, David did two performances in the opera, "RIGOLETTO" with The Inland Valley Symphony Orchestra at the Old Town Community Theater in Temecula, CA. He played the main singing part as the "Duke" which included the songs "Questa Oquella" and "La Donna Il Mobile". His performances were simply stunning! David appeared in several local publications and newspapers including 'The californian' and 'The Press Enterpise'.
The very first of David's studio recordings was "Vesti La Guibba" and is included here. He was 14 at the time. Though not a perfect performance, his voice does already demonstate his ability for operetic form. David and George both sing together in a song written by George entitled "Wonderful Dreams" included here.
