Destiny of Louisiana is the remaining members of The End of the Road band that was formed in February of 1990. As time progressed the group cut their first CD entitled “First Time” which is a rich collection of the different styles of music that they perform.Louisiana music which is better known as Swamp Pop is a big part of their show. Performing selections by Louisiana greats as Fats Domino, Van Broussard, Boogie Express just to name a few. You can also hear Funk, Classic Rock, Country, Oldies and just about any other style of music at the shows. Destiny of Louisiana is the band for festivals, weddings, private parties or any function that seeks exciting and fun entertainment. Some of their current and previous clients are the Independence Italian Festival (14 consecutive years), Strawberry Festival, Oyster Festival, Jelly stone Swamp Pop Festival and with over 3000 festivals, weddings, private functions, clubs and charity events, you can be assured that they are experienced and professional performers. Having opened for recording artist Billy Jo Royal, Percy Sledge, The Coasters, Van Broussard and many more artist, they adapt their shows to include selections that will fit into any type of event.
The group consist of Terry Mixon (GuitarVocals), Anthony Musacchia (Drums), Joey Milazzo (SaxVocals), Frank “Pop” Giamalva (SaxVocals), Aubrey Mixon (Bass) Robert Sullivan (Keyboard) and we have special guest Kristy Mixon singing when the performance requires a female touch and flavor to the mix.
