UKE IT DON"T NUKE IT...

2 MORE NEW SONGS UPLOADED

Dob Bylan, one man band, singer song writer, plays guitar, ukulele, blues harp and various other noise makers. This showcase features various ukulele and electric sounds.

"I guess I grew up on punk and for personal playing satisfaction it still works for me. And of cause covering Dylan songs is something I've been doing since I was 16. I took on the handle Dob Bylan when I was living in Perth WA in 1991 and doing the rounds of the coffee shop folk clubs doing Dylan covers with guitar and harp. The songs here are a mix of Bob Dylan covers and Dob Bylan originals"

Previous bands include
Starving Plunderers - country thrash reggae,
Mountain Bush Band - tunes
Fatty and the Blues Machine - blues/clasic rock.

....where the uke is considered a weapon of mass affection!

......................uke it don't nuke it!

My genre is 'FOSSIL ROCK' -(what baby boomers play now) moving between punk and folk/blues with twists.

technical stuff

The tunes Live @ Larnook were recorded in one session directly into my iBook using SoundEdit 16. The mic in the laptop isn't that great as it picks up the sound of the harddrive humming in silent periods. The videos are either recorded with mobile phone or the widescreen stuff is done with (webcam) .....very low technology.

The ukes are a semi acoustic and a solid body tenor. (see pics)
