Dre Wells is a hip hop artist born and raised in Gary, Indiana. He has been doing music his whole life. He emerged on the scene early 2006 writing, recording, and producing beats. First recording with his group Youngest In The Game which consisted of Young Magic (D-Tay) and Young Choppa. After a few songs with the group everyone branched of moving to different locations. Dre Wells constantly stayed at recording working with his older brother then Drewski (Ayedubbtrey). Dropping his first couple of solo tracks like I\'m Shining and Whats it gonna be (Envouge - Don\'t Let go remake). He then continued pursuing his music career as a solo artist working with Adrien Villz and Shottilotto on a few projects. In 2010 Dre joined the United States Army to serve his country. Even with the task of fighting for freedom he still had passion for recording music. With his brother Ayedubbtrey, he worked on his first mixtape \"Don\'t Judge Just Listen\". Which dropped January 01 2012 on Zshare then later on DatPiff. With only a month of the mixtape being out Dre Wells was deployed to Afghanistan. Over there was a whole other world he say\'s. Even with missions and duties he still made time to write music in plans to release a future project when he returned to the United States. After a few months on a combat tour Dre Wells was back in the states where he then started his next project. #AABS an acronym for \"Above All Bullshit\" which is something he says he will always live by. He started the writing and recording process and set the date for the #AABS mixtape to drop on his 24th birthday March 29, 2013. The mixtape did well which he expected and he then planned to record another mixtape before the end of the year. Working with various artist and producers Dre Wells dropped 4th Quarter on December 25, 2013. Dre Wells is currently writing and recording at least three times a week as he calls it craft building. All that\'s left to say is expect great things in the near future.
