Hi, I am a singer songwriter and actor living in the beautiful South West of England.I have toured with my band and also played solo for many years and during that time I have built up a fairly good book of original songs some of which I am very proud of and some I don't talk about.
I appeared this year at the Americana International festival in Nottinghamshire and back in the eighties I was the first UK performer to be asked to play at Jamboree in the Hills USA in front of 50,000 people.
I guess I did something right as they invited me back the next year.The bill was twenty of the USA's top artistes and me. I was the only person on the bill that I had never heard of!!
These days I manage a brilliant British female singer songwriter guitarist, Tjaye Martin. Tjaye also appeared at Americana International and is now writing the songs for her up coming album..... I have heard some of the songs and they are great.
For many years we worked together playing in five star hotels in the Middle East as the duo "Tjaye and The Bear". We were lucky to be able to perform in such countries as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Syria, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain. It's Tjaye's voice that is featured on some of my duet songs.When she does her own live show she is a real powerhouse performer!
I have five kids all of whom I am very proud!
My eldest boy Guy, used to fly helicopters in the Roal Marines. Mark is a very good singer, guitarist and writer, Lee is also a very good singer and sings with a Country band and Joanna has her own hairdressing business.
I have another son, Nige,who I met for the first time two years ago when he was 43.He is a top class singer, songwriter and drummer.
