Biography
Emerald are a young Irish band based in Blanchardstown, Dublin. It consists of Kevin Casey (20), his two younger twin brothers Paul & Neil ( both aged (17) and their drummer Aoife Mulherin (20).
Emerald have been together seveal years and are a very busy band who are constantly gigging around Dublin and Ireland.
The bad have just released their debut album "why can't they see her grace" which is written on a true story of a loved one who suffered from cancer.
So far the album is selling well in shops around Dublin, however the band are trying many different ways of promoting it.
The band have a very busy schedule but if they could pick their favorite gig or proudest moment I know it would be The 4th of january, playing at Vicar st in aid of the 21st anniversary of Phil Lynotts death (THIN LIZZY).The band rocked the crowd at the vibe for philo. Between this 4-piece band they can play twenty different instruments and the have a quite unique sound to their band, and apart from the fact of being young these guys sure are very experienced and talented.The guys also do some charity work in donating to The Irish Cancer Society as they feel any way of helping is a step forward , and if you listen to the lyrics of the album it will sow just how strongly they feel about helping.
