FARE HAVEN

Forming in 2001 band Fare Haven, at the time called Torsion and later changed its name after finding the name had been taken, discovered a new world in which they could exist and express themselves. When the group first formed, for several years endured an ever changing line-up. In late 2006 Matt and David brought Paul Abbott to join the group. Influenced by all the greats Zeppelin, Nirvana, the Beatles and everything else that has good hooks and melodies. The band started off playing covers and practicing obsessively. The band went to play many local shows and hone there skills. Then in late 2005 the band split after certian members became more serious about school and saw music as a teenage dream. After the break-up Guitarist and lead singer and the bands primary song writer David Sizemore auditioned for a part in Paramounts Kings Islands theme park show the School of Rock and got the part. In the mean time while David was performing in the show the rest of the band had given up all hope of ever being in a serious band again. After the show was over, David began dreaming of writing original songs and just working hard to create great music, He then called his long time friend Matt Mayes to start up a band again. They began working on strictly originals. Once they felt they had found their signature sound they began work on a demo which they would redo many times over. Finally they completed the demo in early 2007. The Band is currently playing as many shows as they can and putting forth a maximum effort to get their name out there.
