Biography
"I heard and my heart pounded. My lips quivered at the sound, decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled." -Habakkuk 3:16, The Holy Bible
"Flatline", in definition, is when the electrical impulses from the human heart cease, therefore leaving it in cardiac arrest, or without a beat. However, the band Flatline is very much the opposite . They take dead silence from a room and transform it into convulsive rhythmic energy. It then moves through the veins and into the heart, giving it an electrical boost, which then causes it to pump harder and faster until the heart feels as if it is going to explode from the body. With their enthused spirit and dedicated hearts to their life long passion, Flatline brings uniqueness with complexity and mystery, grasping all ears within their reach.
After their four years of performing locally, Flatline has finally breached the boundaries of the local music scene. Wanting to break through, using their recently recorded CD titled "Breached", as their tool, these five brothers are moving forward in their musical career. With an upcomming full-length CD on the horizon, there is no telling what the future may hold. With Joshua Baker on vocals, Josh Wright on lead guitar, Joel Blackmon on rhythm guitar, Adam Blackmon on drums, Brandon Usher on bass, and Brad Hinson on turn-tables; together, they are Flatline.
