Biography
Young, talented and gifted, Flight 16 began their journey into the hip hop industry after meeting in junior high school, following in the paths of great artists such as Jay-Z, Beanie Siegel, NWA, and the late greats Tupac and Notorious BIG. Steadfast and strong, they were dedicated and passionate to become one of the best groups to ever do this thing we call hip hop. By the time they reached high school, Flight 16 had already started sharing their music with the world, performing in cities and schools all over the U.S. Some places include being an opening act for Cassidy and Lil’ Boosie in Philly and Florida respectfully as well as The Clipse in their hometown of Virginia Beach. An underground artist showcase at Norfolk State University, Baltimore, and Atlanta are some of the places where these artists first made their mark. Flight 16 has also traveled to the UK and Taiwan to perform.
Raw and versatile, Flight 16 is able to move any crowd. Having hands-on input during their entire career, they produce and make beats for most of their records. Not afraid of taking risks, these rappers from the “Seven Cities” are able to relate to all cultures and backgrounds. What they bring to the game is style, charisma, signature flows and a deep lyrical content making them relatable to all ages. Grinding hard, Flight 16 showered the entire Seven Cities with numerous underground mix tapes/radio play, marketing and making themselves known.
On the verge of finally breaking into the business, the group uses shows like Sunday Night Spotlight to prepare the world for what they have in store. Flight 16 is putting themselves in position to become one of the future dynasties in hip hop.
