The Ragged Edge formed in 1988 in rumney nh.The original members were Billy Geetar Moses guitar and vocals/ chris moses lead guitar / Jimmy moses guitar vocals/ Rick Wildenburger bass/ Eddie Moses drums. The name Ragged Edge was given to us by Jimmy Moses and we used the name for many years. On November 23 1993 Jimmy Moses was killed in a terrable constuction accident.November 20th 1993 just before his death The Ragged Edge recorded three songs at a small studio in claremont NH.Three songs were recorded, who,s gonna feed the hungry children ( which is being remade now) Running on the ragged edge, and The last ride which was written by Jimmy Moses. The last ride was entered in a radio contest at wpnh in Plymouth NH. The song finished fourth out of fifty four bands.Jimmy was killed the next day before the other members of the band had a chance to talk to him about it.He managed to put it on a casette and it was in the player when he died. The Ragged Edge took a couple years off after that.Bill and Chris Moses got the band back together in 1995 and stayed together until 2002 when back problems made it hard for Eddie to play the drums and Rick Wildenburgers job became too demanding so the band broke up.
Bill and Chris moses started a new band in 2002 called Pureheart, with Joey Kinsella on drums and Gary Cutrer on bass. The band went through different drummers for the next few years. In 2009 the band finally broke up!
