IN THE LABYRINTH is a project centred around Peter Lindahl and his studio in Stockholm, Sweden. Besides his devotion to beautiful melodies and strangely mystical themes, Peter´s main goal with In the labyrinth is to pick up on all sorts of styles and musical structures to have them melded into a new combined form, not worrying about whether it´s appropriate or not or if he´s stepping out of his limits. Some of these gengres which he experiments with are Medieval, Middle Eastern, Turkish, Indian, Scandinavian Folk, Symphonic Rock, Psychedelic, Ambient and score. Most of the songs are instrumental but there are also some featuring vocals. In The Labyrinth have released Three CD's so far: "THE GARDEN OF MYSTERIES" -1996, "WALKING ON CLOUDS" -1999 and "DRYAD" -2002.
Other members of the band are Håkan Almkvist, Helena Selander, Robert Eklund, Marcos Chagallo and several others who appear more or less sporadically.
So far, it has not been a touring outfit and is limited to the environment of the studio but certain plans on going out "live" have been strirring lately.
