Sjon-Mathew Silva aka iXzi$t was born & raised in Waterbury, CT. Ever since his days of youth,John Silva has been an entertainer. From being a comedian in everyday life to acting in plays in middle school, he has been familiar with the spotlight. Growing up with two older brothers he was exposed to hip hop at a very young age. He was a hype man/dancer at the age of 8 for a group his brothers formed. With no stage fright showing at all from the child, it could have been foretold he would grow to be a star.
Later down the years, John found a gift in writing poetry. He found a way to tune his emotions whether happy or sad to poems. "I found it easier to express myself through writing as oppose to verbally". He was involved in every aspect of hip hop from graffiti to break dancing. It was only a matter of time before the kid would pick up a microphone. "I remember writing my 1st rhyme was after listening to a Canibus freestyle prior to 2nd round KO".
After admiring the way that rapper used his intelligence in making music John began writing & rapping and has never stopped.
You might have caught him at a battle at a club or a cipher on a street corner. Wherever he was, he would make sure his presence was felt. At the age of 17 he was diagnosed wit NF2 (brain tumors). John felt his world crashing but something kept him going, prayers and music. With all the odds against him he never let his dream die. Alot can be said about the young emcee, but one thing is for sure this kid is hot. As long as he continues to bring fire to every record; haters can hate, judges can judge but he can never be denied.
