Jon Allen Edwards is a singer/songwriter/entertainer from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. For the past 22 yrs J.A.E has honed his skills founding and fronting many bands in the Toronto Area such as 97M ( 1980 ) Dealt A Rage ( 1985 ) The Lost ( 1987 ) and Sweet Sin ( 1992 ). In 1992 while fronting Sweet Sin,Jon's song " Wildest Dreams " was entered into Toronto radio station Q107'S Homegrown contest and was a semi finalist in the annual talent search.
Leaving Sweet Sin in 1993, Jon continued to write and develop his own style of music eventually re emerging as a solo artist in 1995. Presently Jon continues to tour across Canada as a one man act called Acoustical Grooves. His solo act is a walk down memory lane featuring the top hits from 1970 to 2000 in a very intimate unplugged acoustic show.
In 2008 Heavily influenced by classic 70's rock, Jon released his first solo CD " Is It Just Me " This recording has managed to infuse his love of the progressive rock era with updated vocal styling and beats that keep the groove fresh and exciting.
Not one to sit still for long, Jon continues to tour as a solo act. When not on the road, Jon has begun writing for his next CD titled " Presently No Past ". Be sure to visit his homepage for detailed concert and music info.
