Hi, I'm Just Sheila,

Born and raised in Chicago, I began my musical career at the tender age of 4 years old. I penned one of the featured tune "Save The Children" after hearing about the deaths of the children in Atlanta, GA. When I heard about the children dying so needlessly, all I could do was cry and pray, from those tears this song was born.
For years I worked toward fulfilling my dream as a recording artist until tragedy struck. In December of 1994 I was disabled by an accident that nearly took my life. For many people this would have been the end of their dreams, but for me it was confirmation that God had something bigger in store for my life. From that came the inspiration for my first CD and BOOK. On the CD I sing all types of music from love songs to country, but gospel is my first love.
He gave me songs in every situation, both good and bad; that's why in this CD and book I write about my experiences of triumphs and defeats and entitled this project "It's Personal, words inspired by."
After trying unsuccessfully to get a record deal, my friend and I opened a production company "SheWee Productions" and built a studio in my home. We began producing my CD's as well as helping other achieve their musical dreams. All the vocal you hear are "just Sheila" because I couldn't afford to hire any help. I wanted to always remember my humble beginnings and my stage name reminds me that it's all about him and not me...I'm just Sheila trying to touch someones life through the gifts given to me.
