Biography
Ke-Nii hails from Cape Town, South Africa, often referred to as the most beautiful place in the world. Starting out as a teen-scene disc jockey, he became one of Southern Africa's top disc spinners with his trade mark smooth husky voice.
It was after quitting the DJ game that he returned to his first love, songwriting whilst sudying in Johannesburg. He wrote the gospel classic Last Night, which charted on radio stations across the exciting land of Nelson Mandela, South Africa. In fact Last Night went on to be voted one of that year's best songs on contemporary radio stations!
After helping the group V.O.I.C.E.S become a household name with their funky gospel rhythms, Ke-Nii decided to focus more on songwriting and production and to form Nubia Entertainment which now has some of the most exciting new artists in Cape Town, the home of jazz and swing.
He has worked with artists like the sensational seventies child star Little Ronnie Joyce, r & b songstress Meeka, as well as with ace pianist Camillo Lombaard! From his rap album, Tha Force Roxx, to the smooth vocals and harmonies of Covenant, this talented artist is set to write even more hits for his stable, Nubia Entertainment!
