Biography
Hello! I'm Kevin K. Gagnon.
A player from Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Like many players my age,I've all but given up on trying to get my "big break" with other bands, so now I compose songs on my own, and friends and fellow players tell me they like my work as well.
I'm just trying to get my originals out to be heard - just another small voice in a very large choir!
I always believed that songs are never truly finished until they are heard and shared. Self-taught, I have played bass around Windsor clubs for 30-odd years.
Also, I also play a solo guitar act on occasion. I'm a member of the American Federation of Musicians (Windsor, Ontario Local 566), and I am also a member of SOCAN here in Canada. I also enjoy playing guitar, writing and collaborating on various playing projects around my area. I am not a flashy or fast guitarist, but I get by - and I truly enjoy playing it! I've also done recordings in local studios - mostly session work at Polaris Studio and Indebasement Records & Audio Productions. I compose instrumentals to keep the music more universally shared(no language barriers).
Currently, I am playing bass and guitar with local acts as a fill in player whenever possible.
Gotta admit, this is a great site to be on - just to hear all the diverse players and artists from around the world is worth the time and effort!
I hope to collaborate with other players on-line or elsewhere and, who knows, maybe sell a tune or two or even record my own album. I guess we're all looking for a little immortality from what we do (The dream never dies - only the dreamer)!
I appreciate all of your comments very much - and also enjoy hearing all of you stuff, too!!!
Thanx for listening and rock on! };)

Hi Kevin, Great to find you here! I'm listening to "Shaddupen Boogie!" and digging the groove immensely. It reminds me of how much fun it is playing live with you. Keep up the great work Kevin. 5/5 Cheers:))) Mark
