Kent Burnside

Kent Burnside is a grandson of the late, blues great RL Burnside. Up until last December Kent was touring with Jimbo Mathus. Jimbo has a grammy with Buddy Guy. They played all over the United States including opening for Buddy Guy in California.

Now Kent has his own 5 piece band - Kent Burnside and the New Generation. They have toured through many states in the U.S.

Kent writes most of the music that they play. They also play music from his grandfather, RL Burnside, and his uncle, Duwayne Burnside, along with many other great blues musicians.
